Billing
You pay $20 a month until you cancel, in US dollars, plus tax where it applies. Usage is charged at exactly what the AI companies charge us, with nothing added. Every charge shows up in your wallet.
Cancel anytime
Cancel anytime from Settings → Plan. You keep your plan until the end of the month you paid for. Your credit never expires: after you cancel, it keeps working on the Free plan.

How far do my messages go?
More than most people use in a month. We count in Everyday messages: one message to one of our Everyday models, on average. Some things use more than one:
- Plus and Premium models consume more Everyday messages than Everyday models.
- Web search on a round consumes the equivalent of 5 Everyday messages.
- A panel round uses several, because each model answers and reacts to the others: about 5 with two Everyday models, 30–40 for two Plus models, and about 100 for 3 Premium models.
Before you send, mumo shows what that message or round will use, and your wallet shows exactly what everything cost after. On Premium, unused Premium messages roll over.
Why does mumo search the web?
Every AI model learns from data that stops at a cutoff date, often months before you talk to it. Ask about this week's news, a new product or a price that just changed, and a model on its own can only guess, or answer from what was true back then.
Web search gives the models current sources to work from, so they all answer from the same up-to-date facts. But most questions don't need it, so mumo checks each message first and searches only when fresh information would make the answer better. When it doesn't search, you don't pay for a search; the check itself costs a small fraction of one Everyday message.
Where does my $20 go?
About half buys your messages, at exactly what the AI companies charge us. The rest pays for mumo itself, and we'd rather show you that than hide it.
Most AI apps fold their margin into what each message costs, so you can't tell what the models cost versus what you're paying the app. We don't mark up messages, and every charge is itemized in your wallet. The rest of Premium is what pays for mumo:
- The best models. GPT-6 Astra, Claude Fable 5.1 & Claude Opus 5.5 are on Premium.
- Bigger panels. Three models instead of two.
- Search on every message, not just the first.
- Files and export. Upload documents and images, download any conversation.
- Premium messages that roll over, and refills that never expire.
- Everything that isn't on your receipt. The servers, the search pipeline, recaps, and the free plan that lets anyone try mumo before paying.
